Who We Are

BBrains Development Society, commonly known as 'BiharBrains', is a non-profit organization registered under Society Act with special focus on awareness building on education and creating environment for research and development in Bihar.

The society came into existence in 2004 and got registered on 16th May 2007 (Regd no: 128/2007-2008). It is being run by NRIs, NRBs and educated people of Bihar.

What We Do

On this forum, any member can submit his project proposal. Then his proposal goes on our online discussion forum (biharbrains@yahoogroups.com) where every member can give his views. After the completion of discussion, that project is implemented in Bihar by "BiharBrains Scholastic center" Patna.

Main Objectives

To form a group of intellectuals in different parts India and Abroad (NRIs)
To form group of scientific intellect, R&D professionals and management tycoons
To volunteer for the development of rural Bihar
To make bridge between NRIs of Bihar and request them to invest in Bihar
To create healthy work environment in Bihar
To help in building careers of young engineers/scientists

Our Main Thrust Areas

We welcome project proposals by any individuals, NRIs or other development agencies in the following fields:

A. Education Sector

School/college Infrastructure development and building environment for all around development
Seminar/Symposium/orientation programs/Short or long term training programs on Cutting Edge Technology/Life Sciences/human science & behavior/personality development
Uplifting needy and Intelligent Talent
Establishing Training and Design Houses or giving assistance to Govt /University & College Depts to develop their labs and start R&D activity

B. Research & Development

Opening R&D Houses in association with BB and other Govt. or Non Govt. agencies.

C. Development Projects

Rural/urban areas all around development and give model shape
Any idea projects related to development under individual sponsorship scheme or group sponsorship scheme under BB society or in association with BB society
