The Upendra Naryan Jha Scholarship Yojna

Background :

As a child when I grew up in a village of  Bath, I searched for opportunities that I could gain in the process of making myself i.e. EDUCATION.

In those days we had few opportunities and few scholarship program that would financially back us and of all the least of awareness. As time gained momentum I realized that ‘Education is a social process. Education is growth. Education is, not a preparation for life; education is life itself.’

Today, By grace of God my abilities have raised and I could search for no better alternative than to start

"The UPENDRA  NARAYAN JHA SCHOLARSHIP YOJANA"

to pay back to my society.
The vision of my father was to help a talented needy student .
Myself started to fulfill his wish by doing this activity in my home town.
I am thankful to you that you have taken such a great  responsibility towards trying to our society an educated one.

Objective of this Yojana:

1. To promote knowledge and understanding of rural communities .
2. To help 10 needy and deserving young students who desire to study.
3. To educate 10 individuals within society, to prepare and qualify them for work in economy as well as to integrate people into society.
4. To help parents to take an active role in their child education to produce a willingness in child to learn by financially supporting their education.
5. To guide and motivate talented student by interacting time to time to create a positive energy among them to become an excellent in his education periphery.

 Selection Criteria

 1ST ,2ND & 3RD from each Class VII ,VIII & IX
Tenth : Topper
Scholrship amount : Rs 100/month ( Rs One hundred only)
Start date : 03.01.2010
Validity : 31.12.2010
Distribution on every 2nd Monday of every month

I was school a topper of Jawarher High English school and passed in Yr 1983.
I have done  my B.Tech ( Elect Engg)  from MIT Muzaffarpur in Yr 1989
I have started my career from  M/S AV Birla group of company and presently working as General Manager- Maint in  M/S Reliance Industries Ltd at Mumbai.

I am having four brothers & three sisters. My mother is with us & very much happy to know this scholarship Yojana.
I am a person who believe in hard working , honesty  & punctuality and happy to help others unconditionally.
