A workshop on Chip Design Trends and Fabrication prospects in India "was organised by IETE, Patna Chapter under Dept. of Electronics, Govt. Of India at AN College Patna. 

Mr. Bibhuti Bikramaditya, Director Tekbrains Pvt. Ltd was the Invited guest on this occasion who gave lucid talk on the subject. During his 2.30 hrs presentation, he talked about history of chip Design in India and its technological growth. He emphasized the need to become expert in the field of Hardware and manufacturing technology to compete with North Asian countries like Korea, Japan and Taiwan. 

India can't become super power unless it gives more attention in this field. Students and researchers should play with the hardware to learn and earn. 

Prof. Lalan Singh, Principal of the college was the chief guest. Prof. Arun Kumar, HOD of Electronics, AN College presided over the function.

Around 50 students and teachers attended the workshop.
